Celebrating Success: A Trip to Cancun with the Insurance Growth Network (IGN)

The hardworking teams from CMB Insurance Brokers, Mango Insurance, and Progress Insurance, together known as the Insurance Growth Network (IGN), achieved our 2023 growth targets. As a reward, we enjoyed a company-wide trip to the beautiful Sandos Cancun resort in Mexico. This trip was both a celebration of our collective success and an opportunity to build stronger team connections. The mid-April trip included round-trip airfare to Cancun, shared accommodations, and all the perks offered by the all-inclusive resort.

Staying at Sandos Cancun

Located on the white sands of Cancun and overlooking the gorgeous Caribbean Sea, Sandos Cancun is a boutique-type all-inclusive resort that offers amenities like a luxury spa, fitness center, gourmet restaurants, and a three-tiered infinity swimming pool. It was an incredible location to relax and celebrate our success.

IGN Day Celebrations

The trip’s highlight was IGN Day, which took place on a Saturday. It included an awards ceremony recognizing team members’ achievements, followed by a series of beach games that brought everyone together in a fun and competitive way.

Competitive Fun on the Beach

The beach games on IGN Day provided a perfect mix of competition and entertainment. They began with a three-legged race, with teams hilariously attempting to coordinate their steps across the sand. This was followed by beach towel “musical chairs” and a race to fill a large bucket with water using a human chain from the ocean equipped with leaky buckets.

The tug-of-war was the most intense event of the day. Teams pulled with all their might, leading to two ropes breaking under the strain—a testament to their enthusiasm and competitive spirit! The games were a fun way to meet, connect, and enjoy being in the Mexico sunshine.
We wrapped up the day’s events with a delicious outdoor taco bar.

Building Memories and Strengthening Bonds

Our trip to Cancun was an excellent way to relax, celebrate our hard work, and create lasting memories. This experience not only strengthened team bonds but also underscored the value of our collective efforts. Returning from Cancun, we all felt more connected and motivated, ready to tackle future challenges together and work towards earning another trip in 2025!
